At the edge of the mangrove swamp in Woodlands park I spied this tall, elegant bird. Even my 14x zoom was unable to get a clear close-up of this creature perched on a branch waiting for a catch. So I had to resort to editing the photos taken and fiddling with the contrast. I think it is a specie of stork but I cannot be sure. Nevertheless it was thrilling just to see this big bird oblivious to the crowds of visitors to the park.
