Punk birds - that's what my daughter called these birds. They are White-crested laughing thrush and they are noisy and like to move around in groups hopping on the ground and on low branches looking for unfortunate worms. I think it is an apt description. To me they also look like bandits or on the heroic side, little zorros. They are bold and not afraid of people so I was able to get these shots of them at close range. Having a zoom lens also helps.
