Birds seen at Kentridge Park

This bird always amuses me because it looks so much like a feathered-version of Zorro. Usually they are seen at ground level but this time they were flying amongst the trees high above occasionally coming down to perch on the railing near me.
At the back entrance to the Hortpark from Kentridge, my friend noticed a large bird on this pine tree. When I got a little too close, it flew away. It has brown feathers and strong legs.

This bird here is a large crow, the size of a chicken.
